3 Drugstore Products Review

Hey Everyone...

So yesterday I went to my local Rite Aid and bought 3 products. The first is Revlon Colorbrust Lip Butter and two Maybelline Color Tattoo's.

The Revlon Lip Butter is the  most talked about drugstore product right now. It's super creamy, goes on smoothly, and you don't even feel like its on. It doesn't need retouching most of the time which is also another good thing. The packaging is really nice, my only eff is that I have to pull it a certain way in order to open it. Now the color I got was 015 Tutti Frutti, a beautiful peachy coral color, but...may not be the color for me.

Retail Price : $6.99-$7.99 depending on where you get it.

The next product are the Maybelline Color Tattoo's 24hrs. I got the colors 40 Tenacious Teal and 30 Pomegranate Punk. Tenacious Teal as you can see is a baby blueish color and for Pomegranate Punk its a kind of remains of a dark purplish brown to it. What you don't see in the photo is that both creams has some sort of a gold shimmer into. I just had to swipe it once to get this to come out which is a tale tell that both  cream shadows are quite surprising very pigmented.  They come in a form of a Paint Pot and can be a sup to a Mac Paint Pot if you don't want to spend a lot of money on it.  Now you can wear them without shadow, with out an eye primer and use it as an eye shadow base itself  but for a better staying power and for the colors to really pop you can apply eye shadow on top of it along of course with your favorite eye primer of choice.  As for the 24hr thing I can't really say it does however it does last you the whole day.All I can say way to go Maybelline..

  2. Hey Em, there are three shades of Red. If you have fair skin a bluish undertone would work for you. More on the pink, cherry red side.

For warmer golden skin tones a more true red or apple red would look for you.

For dark skin of course would lean towards Blood red, burgundy or warm brick.

    I hope this helps.
