My Weight Loss Journey.

Hi Everyone,

So today blog is very personal. As you know summer is just around the corner and everyone is taking out their bathing suit. I have notice that a lot of my FBF are asking questions about weight loss, how long it would take, what type of diets and workouts. I have been struggling with my weight for many years now.

As a kid growing up I was skinny, never had a problem with weight at all
I'm the one in the leather LOL

But when I was 15yrs old I started to gain. I  worked for my aunt in the summer and her office was above a Pizzeria so you know where I got my lunch. But at the time it wasn't a big thing to me or just maybe at the time I just didn't care. When I went to Job Crop at 18, My weight was 198lbs. I was at my biggest at the time and I was starting to feel out of place again. While at Job Crop I ended up losing about 50lbs over a year and a half. But I did it the wrong way. Because the food there was so bad (and I MEAN IT) I would never eat. I would always buy something from the vending machine which were Famous Amos and Pepsi. I really lived off of this for a year. However when I finished and moved back home I gained it all back and then some.

While I was pregnant I didn't really gain much at all. I was 180lbs and stayed around there until I gave birth. Also around that time I was going through so much stress, I was working long hrs, and I walked all the time. I hated being on the bus and in cars. You would have to drag me in a car at times. When I gave birth to my daughter I lost about maybe 15lbs give or take.
24 days after I gave birth. My daughter was born on the 1st of Dec.

After this time around I gained it all back and this time I gained even more. Around my birthday in 2010 my sister was taking me out dancing. While we were there I felt so out of place. I felt as everyone was making fun of the fat girl who was dancing by herself, I thought ppl were making fun of me ( and there were a few who were), and I just wanted to just go away. I felt even worse when I saw the photo and realized I had to change.

My Birthday 2010 I was 230lbs.

Around the same time I spoke to my doctor and he told me I had early stages of Arthritis. With this on top of the weight there were times I could not move. I was in pain and I was really depress. So I told myself it was time for a change once and for all. I asked my doctor for more information on weight loss, I saw a Diet Couch, I went online to find some information, and I planned. Now mind you it took a lot of work and it is hard physically, mentally ,and emotionally. I got cook books to learn new ways of cooking my food, I ate a lot of fruits and veggies. I ended up changing my whole milk to 2% milk, my white bread to whole wheat, and my pasta as well. As far as rice goes I could not change it. I can not stand brown rice. Maybe it is the way I cook it but it has no taste whatsoever. Couldn't do it sorry LOL.

My diet was very simple to say the least
Eat 6times a day: 3 full meals and 3snacks.
Drink water: Water has not calories, keeps you hydrated, and above all it is proven drinking water in between snacks helps keep your ease your stomach if you are hungry.
Eat more Fruits and Veggies: Both are healthy, contains things you need for your body, helps gives you more energy, and it tastes really good.
Portions: You always want to eat in portions never more then what you can eat. Take what you usually eat and cut it in half that. And always chew slowly. It is proven that chewing your food until it gets very mash-y helps fill you up more.
The one thing you should not do at all is allow yourself to go hungry. Not only are you messing out on the neutrinos that you body needs, but you are not really losing weight your body is just eating your fat and building it to protect its self.
No more Fast Food or Junk Food: Instead of eating a Big Mac that has so much calories go for something else like a snack wrap or a salad. But remember some fast food places has MSG.
Exercise: Exercising is the key part to losing weight as well as dieting. You work out your body fat, build muscle and tone your body. It is also good for your heart, helps keeps you looking younger and feeling younger as well.

As of today I know weigh 175lbs. The last time I weight this was back in 2007 when I gave birth
Me today or at least a month ago two months ago because I just cut my hair.

So I hope this was helpful to you guys. Again I am not a professional I can only share what I have gone through and still going through. I do plan to lose 20more before my bday which is in August but as of right now I am very happy and healthy. So thanks for reading, good luck, and until then....

Eye Lift You Up!

 Hello everyone,
Today's blog is about Eye Tape! Yes, I said it eye tape. Now what is it you ask??
Eye-tape is to help those who have the following:
A) Mano lids
B) Uneven eyelids
C) Hood eyes
D) Just wants a more open bright eyes.

I have been using this for about a month now and I must say I am in love. The eyelid tape is made out of surgical tape, its very clear, you can wear it under your eye make-up and its CHEAP!!

Here I have very small and hooded eyes. I cant no longer wear eye-shadow because it comes right off. My eyelids get very oily and with double skin on my eyelid doesn't help at all.
On top of everything else, as you can see the way my eye drops, it can also be very hard to see. I look at times like someone punched me. SO NOT COOL!
Here is my eyes after I put the eyelid tape. You can see very easily. It lifted up the extra skin, it opened my eye so much more, and on top of that I was able to put my eye-shadow on and last all day.
Now I did put it on wrong but this is how it looks. It blends very well on your eyes and doesn't feel like a thing.

Now for the cons:
A) When taking off it does pull on your skin of the eye lid and that's not a good thing. The skin for your eye is the most fragile and can easily stretch.
B) After a while you can see it. Now at first I put it on before make-up and you see a very shiny part on my eyelids and after a few hours you do notice it. I then put it on after make-up it does match up but again after a few hours you notice them.
C) Instruction wise was not very good. I tried looking it up on youtube and even there I was having a hard time learning how to place them.

This is my first eye tape. I do plan on getting more from different companies and tell you which is the one I think is best. The price like I said is very cheap going to $1.00 to $15.00. I got mine from Amazon but I do believe you can also get them at ebay. There you go folks hope this was helpful, if you have tried these out please let me know your experiences was like.

Unitl then..
